Immigrant men & their families face many challenges. The intense demands of adjusting to a new society puts tremendous stress on their lives.
The issues are many, including:
- affordable housing
- fair employment
- income security
- schooling
- parenting
- gender roles
- recognition of foreign qualifications
- cultural & legal awareness in Canada
- spirituality
- conflict
The Edmonton Immigrant Men Support Network Society is an attempt to address these challenges.

- leadership & advocacy training
- self-help & counselling referrals
- personal & group support
- immigration & settlement guidance

- networking & introduction to community service providers
