Immigrant men & their families face many challenges. The intense demands of adjusting to a new society puts tremendous stress on their lives.

The issues are many, including:

  • affordable housing
  • fair employment
  • income security
  • schooling
  • parenting
  • gender roles
  • recognition of foreign qualifications
  • cultural & legal awareness in Canada
  • spirituality
  • conflict

The Edmonton Immigrant Men Support Network Society is an attempt to address these challenges.

EIMSNS Core Services

Our focus is immigrant men & their families. We provide:

  • leadership & advocacy training
  • self-help & counselling referrals
  • personal & group support
  • immigration & settlement guidance
  • advocacy
  • networking & introduction to community service providers
